The omens were favourable, the auguries clear
… and the civic elders spoke …
Team Montol is very happy and very relieved to report that Penzance Council has once again seen fit to support the most ancient business of driving out the darkness with masks, music, mischief and magic … and a touch of madness.
Montol is on.
As though it was ever going to be otherwise.
And it was almost unanimous … hmmm …
Our heartfelt thanks to Mayor Andy Law, Councillors Penny Young, Jim McKenna, Stephen Reynolds, Simon Reed, and James Hardy our Town Clerk.
They said such lovely things about us all that decorum prevents us from repeating them.
Honestly, we blushed.
Don’t forget – Montol is on a Monday this year.

This year’s Montol promises to be the most magical yet.
