Just a reminder for Saturday.
There will be cocks in britches … and kilts – cries in Cornish and most of the responses in authentic Penzance gibberish.
There will be gooks and flatcaps, vegetal head-dresses and witchy veils.
There will be music courtesy of The Raffidy Dumitz Band and Tros an Treys – called dances and chaotic ones and ones which are both.
And there will be the famous Guldize Raffle with prizes ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous – the proceeds of which will go towards that aforementioned obscure midwinter festival.
To be honest, now it’s all arranged … can’t wait!
